Major of Media Communication & Korean Culture

With the development of digital and mobile information and communication technologies, the media industries such as journalism, broadcasting, and new media are entering into an era of convergence.
The Department of Media Communication & Korean Culture Studies is offering a convergence-oriented creative discipline for enhancing the ability of the students in terms of communication, culture, and language through developing media contents production practices that respond to journalism, broadcasting, and new media industries.
In order to cultivate logical, critical, creative thinking and communication skills in a global, multi-cultural, and multi-media context, the department offers an integrated curriculum in terms of theories and practices to develop communication skills such as human communication, mass communication, journalism, broadcasting, new media, language, literature, popular culture and criticism, etc.

Major of Advertising, Public Relations & Culture Contents Science

In the 21st century, the demand for understanding Chinese and Japanese cultures have increased, and the role of Asian countries has become very important.
The Major of Oriental Language plays a key role in enhancing the competitiveness of the East Asian era through developmental cooperation and mutual growth through education on the language, literature, and culture of the East, including China and Japan. The Major of Oriental Language produces experts who can grasp the grand currents of time with objective viewpoints and pursue universal values with a global-mind set, while responding to the 21st century, the era of Asia, through a broad-ranging education in the languages and literature of China and Japan.
In the Major of Oriental Language and Literature, students acquire the ability to speak two languages: Chinese and Japanese. At the same time, through multilateral understanding and intensive courses, upon graduation, students are able to use their professional knowledge in various professions.
